I always enjoy reading your blog...Thanks, Carolyn. I always enjoy reading your blog, but hadn't gone back far enough to find the New Orleans thoughts. The idea of this place, with its magical associations, voodoo, Santoria, Brazilian water nymphs, French culture and cuisine, dreaming underwater like Atlantis and now facing the possibility that much of its unique citizenry will never return is almost overwhelming.
